Injury Statistics for the Eagle Pass Area

Border traffic, oilfield vehicles, and local drivers all share the same roadways in and around Eagle Pass, and crash numbers show how often serious injuries occur. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, Maverick County recorded 1,008 crashes in 2023, including 9 fatal crashes, 10 deaths, and hundreds of collisions that produced suspected serious, minor, or possible injuries.

These figures highlight why working with a personal injury lawyer who understands local highways, farm-to-market roads, and neighborhood streets can be important in a Texas claim.

Many injured people prefer to describe pain, medical treatment, and family stress in Spanish, especially when the story involves parents or grandparents. Our bilingual team understands this need and will explain medical records, insurance letters, and court deadlines in whichever language makes you feel most comfortable.

Common Types of Personal Injury Cases in Eagle Pass

Personal injury cases in Eagle Pass often start with everyday events that suddenly turn serious, whether on U.S. 57, in a neighborhood parking lot, or inside a local business. When you contact Gonzalez & Associates P.C., an attorney will review how the incident occurred, identify the people or companies that may be responsible, and explain how Texas law treats injuries caused by careless or unsafe conduct.

Many of the calls we receive involve the following:

  • Motor vehicle crashes on U.S. 57, U.S. 277, farm-to-market roads, and city streets, including collisions with commercial trucks and company vehicles.
  • Falls and other premises liability incidents in stores, hotels, apartment complexes, or public areas where property owners did not correct dangerous conditions.
  • Medical malpractice claims where patients did not receive proper care at clinics or hospitals and suffered preventable complications or loss.

Conversations about these and other cases we handle often include questions about medical bills, lost wages, future treatment, and how pain affects daily life. Our team at Gonzalez & Associates P.C. will review police reports, medical records, photos, and witness statements, then use those details to present your story clearly to insurance carriers and, when needed, to a Texas judge or jury in support of your claim.
